Body image is still a massively understated issue in our society, for both women and men. Our culture privileges certain body types over others everywhere we look, to the point where body shame is ingrained in us from every direction. Hollywood, social media, and Photoshop have created unattainable ideals and told us we are doing something wrong by not attaining them. Our therapy will explore what "ideal" body image means to you, the implicit beliefs about appearance you may hold, as well as your relationship to your own body and health, all in a non-judgmental environment.
