Ferzana Jamani

Counsellor/Therapist, BA, RTC
I want you to know me beyond my credentials. I grew up feeling invisible and inadequate, struggling with anxiety and low mood, and limiting beliefs that tainted my relationships. It took volunteering and self-reflection to recognize my own worth and seek help. It was a journey of healing for me too, as I confronted my insecurities and found connection and purpose and my dedication in serving others. Now, as a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, I’m committed to guiding you with care and compassion. Therapy with me consists of transpersonal and somatic techniques focusing on your growth, emotional experiences and connecting your body and mind. Together we will explore your inner emotional experiences to help you repair the pain you have experienced and support you in feeling seen, heard and ultimately thrive, honouring your pace and vulnerabilities every step of the way. I offer personalized sessions to address your unique needs, fostering insight and resilience. In a safe and supportive space, I provide active listening and empathy to build trust. Equipping you with tools for stress management, communication, and self-esteem, we navigate challenges together. Taking the first step toward therapy can be transformative; I invite you to schedule a FREE introductory consultation. Dr. Stéphanie Gamache, PhD

Hypnotherapist, PhD
Something in you knows that what you're carrying runs deeper than the presenting problem. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and outwardly composed-yet internally they live with anxiety, depression, chronic tension or pain, relentless self-criticism, or a sense that something essential is blocked, muted, or just out of reach. These struggles may surface in mood, in the body, in behavior, or in relationships-including sexuality and intimacy-but they are rarely contained to any one area. They tend to reflect deeper emotional and relational patterns formed early in life, often before language, that continue to shape how a person approaches closeness, vulnerability, agency, pleasure, and self-expression. My work centers on how early experience shapes the capacity for self-regulation, desire, connection, and meaning throughout life-and particularly on how people come to know what they need and want, how they learn to express or inhibit those impulses, and what happens when these capacities become conflicted, constricted, or difficult to sustain. I integrate psychoanalytic hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and clinical sexology within a reflective, depth-oriented process. Hypnosis functions as a central clinical tool-creating conditions for deeper internal contact with emotional, bodily, and unconscious experience that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone. The aim is not only relief from symptoms, but the development of a more coherent and compassionate relationship with one's inner life: sensations, emotions, impulses, and desires. This work is oriented toward lasting psychological change-and toward greater freedom in how one relates to oneself, one's body, and one's capacity for connection, authenticity, and vitality. It is best suited to those ready to move beyond symptom management toward something more fundamental.

Matthew Pitts

Registered Psychotherapist, Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and driven, yet internally struggling with relationship conflict, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, career stress, or recurring interpersonal patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Therapy can offer a space to better understand these experiences, navigate difficult emotions and relationships, and develop more grounded and meaningful ways forward. My approach is collaborative, reflective, compassionate and direct when helpful. I aim to create a space where clients can explore difficult emotions honestly, while feeling supported, understood, and challenged toward growth. Prior to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist, I worked as a family law lawyer. That experience informs my understanding of conflict, emotional strain, and the complexity people carry beneath outward competence. My life experience also includes marriage, parenthood, and work within finance/asset management which shapes the perspective I bring into therapy. In couples work, I help partners better understand recurring cycles of conflict so that more emotionally honest, insightful and productive conversations may emerge. Whether for individual therapy or couples therapy, finding the right fit is essential. I invite you to reach out for a brief consultation to see if we would work well together.

Meredith Bailey - Redefining Relationships

Registered Psychotherapist, BA, MACP, RP
Life can move fast – sometimes faster than we can make sense of. A relationship ends, a family grows, work starts to go downhill. Sometimes there’s no single turning point—just a growing sense of feeling lost or that something needs to change. You may be trying to understand a recurring relationship pattern, adjusting to parenthood, grieving a loss, or looking for more room to be yourself. You don’t need a neatly defined problem to bring to therapy. Our work begins with understanding your experience: what feels difficult, what matters to you, and what you hope might be different. I bring curiosity, clinical training, and a down-to-earth approach. You bring knowledge of your own life. Together, we can make space for honest conversations, explore patterns, and consider changes that fit your circumstances. I offer therapy for individuals and couples aged 18 and older, with in-person appointments in Burlington and virtual sessions for clients in Ontario and British Columbia. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. My new-client consultation appointments are 30 minutes long, giving you ample opportunity to ask questions, talk about what you need, and see how it feels to connect with me. I call it a “vibe check”—there’s value in taking time to find someone you feel comfortable speaking openly with.
