Trauma and post-traumatic stress are common. may of us suffered adverse childhood events, not aways are we aware of it. Traumatic events, depending on your genetic and other "landscape" of your brain, can be permanently encoded in the amygdala in your brain. This is what causes the symptoms of PTSD.
