If you’ve been holding it all together for everyone else but feel like you’re falling apart inside, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep doing it that way. I work with women who are navigating life’s transitions while carrying the weight of expectations, responsibilities, and emotional overwhelm. On the outside, you may look like you have it all together, but internally, you may feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of who you are anymore. Therapy with me is a space where you can be real, no pressure to perform, no need to have the “right” words. I bring a warm, honest, and down-to-earth approach, helping you make sense of what you’re feeling while also giving you practical tools to move forward. Whether you’re dealing with burnout, relationship challenges, motherhood, or simply trying to find your way back to yourself, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally supported.

Treatment Approach

  • Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique experience. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while also using person-centered techniques to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I take a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, recognizing the impact of past experiences while focusing on building resilience and practical coping strategies. I also incorporate mindfulness and solution-focused techniques to help clients manage stress, increase self-awareness, and make meaningful progress toward their goals. My goal is to not only help clients gain insight, but to leave each session with tools they can apply in their everyday lives.

Ebony Woney Practice Description
My practice is centered on supporting women who are navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and the pressure of balancing multiple roles. Many of my clients are high-functioning and used to being “the strong one,” yet internally feel stretched thin, burned out, or disconnected from themselves. I specialize in working with women experiencing anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and identity shifts related to motherhood, career changes, or major life transitions. I also support clients who are working through past experiences that continue to impact their current emotional well-being. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both emotional insight and practical strategies. I believe therapy should not only help you understand yourself more deeply, but also equip you with tools you can actually use in your daily life. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques, while also honoring the cultural, relational, and personal factors that shape your experience. As a therapist, I value authenticity and connection. I create a space where you can feel safe being honest about what you’re going through, without judgment. Together, we will explore patterns, build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and work toward helping you feel more aligned, balanced, and in control of your life.
