Finding a therapist shouldn’t feel overwhelming—or like a guessing game. At Nour Counseling, we take the time to actually listen before we match you, so you’re not left scrolling through profiles trying to figure it out on your own. We consider what you’re looking for, what you’ve experienced in past therapy (what worked and what didn’t), and the kind of connection you want to feel in the room. We’re also clear about our values—our clinicians are culturally responsive and affirming, and we hold space for clients navigating complex identities and sociopolitical realities without minimizing or dismissing them. Our goal is simple: to help you get connected to a therapist who not only has the right expertise, but who genuinely feels like a good fit.

- Online Therapy Details: Virtual therapy offered through HIPAA-compliant EHR SimplePractice
At Nour Counseling, we’ve built our practice around a simple belief: therapy should feel both human and intentional. Too often, people come to therapy already exhausted—by systems that haven’t worked for them, by past experiences of not feeling understood, or by the pressure of trying to choose “the right” therapist without enough support. We don’t think you should have to navigate that alone.
As a fully virtual practice, we offer therapy that is accessible, flexible, and grounded in real life. But what matters most to us isn’t just convenience—it’s connection. From your very first interaction with our team, we prioritize listening. We take time to understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and what hasn’t worked in the past. From there, we thoughtfully match you with a clinician who not only has the clinical expertise to support your needs, but who we believe you can build a strong, meaningful therapeutic relationship with.
Our clinicians work with individuals navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, burnout, depression, trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, grief, major life transitions, and neurodivergence (including ADHD, autism, and giftedness). We also recognize that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. Many of our clients are carrying the impact of systemic stressors—racism, ableism, sexism, political instability, and the ongoing pressure of living in systems that may not reflect or support their values. We don’t dismiss or minimize those realities. We make space for them, and we support you in making sense of how they intersect with your personal experiences.
At Nour, culturally responsive care is not a buzzword—it’s a commitment. We strive to create an environment where clients with progressive, justice-oriented values feel seen and supported, not questioned or misunderstood. We also recognize the importance of nuance: your identities, your context, and your goals all matter here.
Therapy with us is collaborative and forward-moving. We’re not here to define you by what’s hard—we’re here to help you understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with your capacity, and move toward the life you’re trying to build. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning with more clarity about what you need, our role is to meet you with thoughtfulness, honesty, and care every step of the way.
