Life can feel confusing, heavy, or overwhelming—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. In my counselling practice, I offer a calm, thoughtful space where you can untie the inner knots that keep you stuck, understand yourself more deeply, and build the resilience to face life with greater breath and grace. Drawing on neuroscience, trauma‑informed therapy, and mindful awareness, I help you make sense of your patterns, soften anxiety and tension, and reconnect with your inner strength. Clients often tell me they feel lighter, clearer, and more able to make meaningful choices after our work together. If you’re ready for compassionate guidance and lasting change, I’d be honoured to support your journey.

Treatment Approach

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
  • Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
  • Gestalt Therapy Encourages awareness of thoughts, feelings, and actions in the present moment. It helps people integrate different parts of themselves for wholeness.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
  • Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
  • Neuropsychology Examines how brain function affects thinking, memory, and behavior. It often involves assessment and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.
Approach Description: I use an integrative, mind‑body approach that helps clients strengthen self‑regulation and create lasting change. Drawing from somatic therapies, mindfulness practices, parts work (IFS), CBT, Gestalt, neuropsychology, and narrative and humanistic traditions, I support you in understanding your patterns from both a cognitive and embodied perspective. Together, we slow down, tune into your internal experience, and work with thoughts, emotions, and body sensations as interconnected pathways toward healing. My goal is to help you build awareness, flexibility, and resilience so you can meet life’s challenges with greater clarity and steadiness.

Anna Vaisser Psychotherapy Practice Description
My practice is built on the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to explore our inner world with curiosity rather than judgment. I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the quiet but persistent sense that something inside needs attention. Using a blend of neuroscience‑informed therapy, somatic awareness, and mindful reflection, I help clients understand the patterns that shape their emotional experience and gently shift the ones that no longer serve them. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded. I don’t offer quick fixes or generic advice—I help you slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been overwhelmed, ignored, or misunderstood. Together, we make space for clarity, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of self‑trust. Clients often describe feeling more anchored, more spacious inside, and more able to respond to life rather than react to it. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, healing from past experiences, or a more authentic relationship with yourself and others, I offer a calm, thoughtful environment where your story can unfold at its own pace. My role is to support you in building resilience, expanding your capacity, and creating lasting change that feels both empowering and sustainable.
