We all have the ability to change course at any time by making different choices. No one is stuck, and no one has to be a victim to their past, their mistakes or feel trapped by their behaviors. Even our mistakes or tragedies we have experienced, have the power to transform us in brilliant and beautiful ways, if we chose to take responsibility. My practice is based on the idea of Kintsukuroi. This is the Japanese art of pottery repair, in which broken pieces of pottery are mended using precious metals. The resulting piece is often more beautiful than it was before it was broken. Its cracks make it unique, and the shining way it has been mended now becomes a valuable feature. I believe that difficult times do not have to break us, but can help us grow , and our cracks can become opportunities to mend ourselves back together in beautiful ways. Our cracks can be reminders that even broken things can still be golden.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS*** My practice is truly a reflection of my personality, style and values. The things that I teach clients and use as treatment planning are not just evidenced-based techniques, but ideas and skills that I use as part of my own mental wellness practice. I practice primarily through a cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavioral lens. Most of my work with clients starts with collaboratively exploring the issues that clients bring to therapy and formulating specific treatment goals that will guide treatment planning. I am a problem-solution focused therapist, meaning, I am interested in exploring the problems you bring to therapy and then teaching you specific skills that offer more effective ways to manage these problems . Most of my work with clients is done virtually, however, I do offer face-to-face sessions on a limited basis. My office hours are flexible and I can accommodate day, evening and weekend appointments. I look forward to speaking with you in more detail about my practice and how it may suit your needs.
