I provide a warm and friendly therapeutic environment that helps clients feel safe and accepted without judgment. I don’t do “ one size fits all” therapy. I have worked in an inner-city psychiatric emergency room dealing with acute life-and-death psychiatric crises as well as treated people of different backgrounds, with a wide range of needs, coming to see me in a private practice settings. Although the foundation of my knowledge stems from my academic training; important life experiences, that cannot be taught in school, have greatly expanded my understanding of human suffering.
