I am passionate about guiding children, youth, adults, and couples toward meaningful growth and healing. I believe that every person’s story is unique, and effective therapy must be tailored to their individual needs. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, IFS, and EFIT—and integrating EMDR and Gottman Method techniques as appropriate—I create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. Every step, no matter how small, is progress, and I am committed to helping clients build insight, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
- Family Systems Therapy Looks at problems within the context of the family as a whole. It aims to improve communication and balance in family relationships.
Approach Description: Liza’s approach to therapy is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in evidence-based practices. She believes that every client has a unique story, and effective therapy is tailored to their specific needs, goals, and experiences. Using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), she helps clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and navigate life’s challenges.
For couples, Liza integrates Gottman Method techniques to improve communication, resolve conflict, and deepen emotional connection.
