Sometimes life can be very challenging, sometimes we feel like we are lost, unable to feel like ourselves, and struggling to enjoy life. Maybe an important relationship seems to be falling apart, or the loss of a loved one has brought about unbearable feelings of grief. Maybe a life transition is causing feelings of anxiety, depression, or inadequacy.
Whatever the reason, when painful emotions arise within, it can be hard to see a way forward, it can be difficult to experience hope. Thankfully this does not need to last forever. Together we can explore those emotions, understand their reason and work towards acquiring healthy coping skills. Such skills can help us manage life, allowing for a space to experience the beauty and wonder that life can bring.
I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for my clients to gain insight, recognize and explore their strengths and work towards reaching their full potential.
I am passionate about helping individuals wrestling with depression, grief, and postpartum difficulties, as well as individuals desiring to build a better self-image, develop confidence and effectively manage life transitions. I am also passionate about working with couples who desire to improve their relationship and those who are preparing for marriage.
I offer a 15-minute free initial consultation, so if you are wondering whether therapy would be beneficial to you or if we would be a good fit, schedule a call, and I would be happy to answer your questions.

Treatment Approach
- Christian Counseling Blends psychological practices with Christian values and scripture. It provides faith-based support for life challenges and spiritual growth.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
Approach Description: I believe therapy should be as unique as you are. That's why I take an eclectic, evidence-based approach that's thoughtfully tailored to your specific needs, pace, and goals. There's no one-size-fits-all method here—instead, we'll work collaboratively to discover what resonates most deeply with you and helps you move forward with clarity and confidence.
My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and collaborative. I draw from multiple proven modalities to create a personalized path for your healing and growth:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for practical strategies to shift unhelpful thought patterns
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional bonds and repair relationships
- Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite your story with compassion and agency
- Attachment-Based Therapy to understand relational patterns and build secure connections
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy when you need practical tools quickly
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance
- Family Systems Theory to explore how relationships shape your experience
- Strength-Based Therapy to build on your God-given strengths and resilience
- Sandtray Therapy for deeper emotional expression when words fall short
- Prepare & Enrich for couples preparing for marriage or strengthening their relationship
Healing doesn't happen on a timeline. Some clients find relief in short-term focused work, while others benefit from deeper, longer-term exploration. We move at your pace—never rushed, never stagnant. You set the goals; I provide the guidance, support, and evidence-based tools to help you get there.
For clients who desire it, I offer Christian faith integration that honours both your spiritual journey and your mental health. This can include prayer, scripture reflection, and faith-based resources woven naturally into our sessions. Whether you're deeply rooted in your faith, questioning, or somewhere in between—faith and doubt are both welcome here. This integration is always optional, respectful, and led by your comfort level.
Above all, I strive to create a space where you can explore difficult emotions, process life's challenges, and discover healing without fear of judgment. Empathy, warmth, and compassion aren't just therapy techniques for me—they are the foundation of who I am. My own journey through grief, uncertainty, and faith has shaped my deep commitment to walking alongside others during their most difficult seasons.
You were created for more. Let's work together toward thriving, not just surviving.
