My studies in the Integral Counseling Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies have supported me in this orientation through a lens of depth psychology. My experience in community mental health settings has trained me to meet my clients with cultural humility, equipping me with liberation psychology and healing justice frameworks. My previous training as a birth worker helps me to conceptualize the work of therapy as a practice of birthing that which seeks to be born.
