ADHD rarely shows up on its own. In the women I work with, it often sits alongside traits of dyslexia, dyspraxia or autism, overlapping rather than separate boxes, sometimes diagnosed only in adulthood, sometimes never formally diagnosed at all. I trained specifically in the emotional repercussions of dyslexia and neurodivergent learning differences, and I bring that lens to ADHD too: less about managing symptoms, more about understanding a mind that was likely misread for years, especially if you were also learning in a second language or a different culture's school system.
