I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Your story needs to be fully heard to begin the healing process. Together, we explore ways to help you live and act according to your values. I help you develop skills for today to allow you to live mindfully in the present, make peace with the past, and create a life of meaning and purpose for the future. I hold board certifications in health psychology and behavioral sleep medicine, which demonstrate the highest level of competency in these fields. These certifications allow me to help people with stressors that impact the body and mind. My grandmother, an indigenous healer, is a prominent presence in my life. She inspired my love of holistic healing practices. When appropriate, I frequently integrate clinical hypnosis and somatic approaches to help clients strengthen the mind-body connection.

Move Toward Healing and Growth
Are you ready to move forward and create real change in your life? Therapy offers the space to heal, gain insight, and build the confidence to live more fully. Together, we’ll work to release the pain and patterns that have kept you stuck, so you can develop a stronger, happier, and more grounded version of yourself.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming—especially when old wounds continue to echo in the present. Unresolved childhood experiences can show up as anxiety, depression, addiction, or struggles in relationships. When your emotional or physical needs weren’t met early on, it can leave lasting imprints of fear, shame, or powerlessness.
I deeply understand how this feels. My own journey of healing and professional training have given me both empathy and the tools to guide others through their own process of recovery and growth.

Susan Spicer
Psychologist, PhD
In my online therapy practice, I specialize in EMDR therapy as a transformative approach to assist individuals in their journey towards healing from trauma and narcissistic abuse, ultimately guiding them back to a place of self-love and emotional equilibrium. The lingering effects of childhood physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, along with the enduring impact of narcissistic abuse, can become deeply entrenched within the body, leading to symptoms of depression, anxiety, hypervigilance, and challenges in navigating relationships and daily life.
I employ a video platform known as remotEMDR, which is specifically designed to facilitate EMDR therapy. This innovative approach aims to reshape the way these distressing memories are stored in the brain, fostering resolution and inner peace. To complement this therapy, I incorporate mind-body practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and breathwork, all of which serve to amplify the healing process.
Drawing on my background as a neuropsychologist, I possess the expertise to help individuals identify their blind spots, condition their thoughts, and ultimately rewire their brains for enduring happiness and success. My mission is to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to healing that empowers individuals on their path to transformation and well-being.

Psychologist, PhD
Like many of you, the pandemic profoundly impacted the way I live and work. I moved my practice completely online in the face of COVID restrictions and have not returned to in person work. I was impressed with the way that online therapy offered clients many more options for their work with me and I found clients able to keep up with their sessions consistently and reliably with more connection options open to them. Via safe and secure telehealth sessions, I offer parent consultation for kiddos under 10, online therapy with older kids, teens and families and individual therapy for adults, specializing in trauma and trauma focused therapies.
