Sumer Statler Aeed
Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist
Telehealth psychology support for life adjustments, trauma, relationships, and body issues. With technology, you can experience all the benefits of in-person therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home and have continuity of care when you travel. It can be especially helpful to those who find it challenging to travel to an office for appointments due to location, work, children at home, lifestyle, or other practical or personal reasons. You may be located abroad or be a professional who travels, telehealth allows you to get the support and resources and meet you where your life is at.
While there are multiple ways that counseling can take place online, I work primarily with face-to-face video conferencing via Zoom and, on occasion, telephone sessions.
I always hold my sessions in a quiet and confidential space, giving you the same confidentiality & professionalism that you experience within an office setting.
Most, if not all, of my clients, find virtual sessions to be highly effective and convenient. They allow for the comfort and safety of therapy in your own space, and no travel time is often less vulnerable than needing to go to an office. Research of multiple studies finds that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most cases. That being said I always advocate for what works best for each individual and it is wonderful to have choices to find your best path whichever that may be.
If you are not tech-savvy or anxious about using technology, I'll make it as seamless as possible. I have chosen a platform that is easy to use, and I am happy to assist you with any questions or concerns.
A common concern I hear from clients regarding online therapy is finding a quiet and/or confidential space when you’re homebound with children, and/or family members or roommates. Please plan this out in advance so you have quiet and privacy during your session.
Since it is so convenient many times people forget to allow themselves a few minutes to "switch hats" and allow themselves a few breaths and get settled into being present and in the head/body space for your session.
Headphones or AirPods can often make audio clearer or provide more privacy, but are not necessary.
Given that video sessions can be conducted on your smartphone, clients have found it helpful to go to a park, connect from wherever you may be, and/or walk around your neighborhood. Get creative and support yourself. Find a private space that allows you to receive support no matter where you are.
You are welcome to have pets join your space if you find that comforting and supporting, and you may see my fellow feline/canine therapists join in one of our sessions on my end.

HUGH R STEWART III
Hypnotherapist, Ph.D., ACHt.
I only do partner and coaching sessions online. Emotional release work has to be done in person. Coaching can be done individually online as long as you have done significant personal growth and emotional release work on yourself. If I find you have blockages from your past, we will need to do those sessions in person for emotional release, breathwork, or hypnotherapy.
I teach the Imago communication technique online with partners whether you are monogamous or non monogamous with your partner. Each learns how to request and deliver feedback, communicate one at a time with the other to mirror, validate, and empathize with what is being said, and listen effectively without formulating a response while the other person is talking. The most important aspect is being able to get into the other persons world of perceptions and experiences without being jaded by our own past triggers and experiences.

Dr. Jeremy Frank
Psychologist, Ph.D., C.A.D.C.
'Teletherapy’ is simply therapy that’s provided through live video streaming over the internet, allowing clients to practice and sustain good mental health while doing their part to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). At Jeremy Frank & Associates, we use secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing services such as Zoom, doxy.me, and others so you can easily connect with a therapist from wherever.
In some cases, we can use video streaming apps like Skype, FaceTime, and Google Hangouts if you’re more comfortable with those or any other platform. Learn about teletherapy below to see if it’s right for you! For more information, please call 215-356-8061 or contact us online.
Teletherapy During Coronavirus
Teletherapy is a type of online counseling where you connect with a therapist who is right for you no matter where you’re located via remote video conferencing. You receive the same treatment as you would in person, but it’s through a computer, smartphone, or tablet instead.
Benefits of teletherapy include:
Safety: Illness won’t spread between clients and therapists which protects everyone.
Access: It’s easier for clients who live in remote areas or have limited mobility or access to transportation.
Reduced cost: It eliminates the costs associated with travel time and gas.
Flexibility: Clients have access to more therapists and can select a therapist who can work with their schedules.
Consistency: It can be scheduled more frequently because clients don’t have to commute or miss sessions due to poor weather conditions or sickness.
Comfort: It offers more privacy than going to a therapist’s office which helps eliminate the social stigma of receiving treatment.
What to Expect in a Session
Teletherapy sessions are scheduled just like regular therapy or counseling appointments. A therapist from Jeremy Frank & Associates will help you get set up and connected via secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing. Your session will be much the same as if it was being conducted in-person.
Please call 215-356-8061 or contact us online to schedule a teletherapy session.
