Heinig Health and Wellness Counseling
Psychologist, Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, M.S. Health Psychology, M.A. Clinical Psychology, PSYPACT Providers
Heinig Health and Wellness Counseling (HHAWC) helps adults navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that often accompany health concerns. HHAWC supports individuals coping with multiple issues; sleep concerns (insomnia, nightmares), chronic illness, chronic pain, ADHD, autism, neurodivergence, health anxiety, weight loss or weight gain, neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Our clinical psychologists, Dr. Travers Heinig and Dr. Faith Shank, are passionate about helping their clients feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work toward improving their overall well-being and quality of life.
We take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, recognizing that each person brings a unique story, set of challenges, and personal strengths to therapy. Our psychologists integrate evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Our work focuses on helping clients develop practical tools, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with what matters most to them.

Sumer Statler Aeed
Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist
Telehealth psychology support for life adjustments, trauma, relationships, and body issues. With technology, you can experience all the benefits of in-person therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home and have continuity of care when you travel. It can be especially helpful to those who find it challenging to travel to an office for appointments due to location, work, children at home, lifestyle, or other practical or personal reasons. You may be located abroad or be a professional who travels, telehealth allows you to get the support and resources and meet you where your life is at.
While there are multiple ways that counseling can take place online, I work primarily with face-to-face video conferencing via Zoom and, on occasion, telephone sessions.
I always hold my sessions in a quiet and confidential space, giving you the same confidentiality & professionalism that you experience within an office setting.
Most, if not all, of my clients, find virtual sessions to be highly effective and convenient. They allow for the comfort and safety of therapy in your own space, and no travel time is often less vulnerable than needing to go to an office. Research of multiple studies finds that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most cases. That being said I always advocate for what works best for each individual and it is wonderful to have choices to find your best path whichever that may be.
If you are not tech-savvy or anxious about using technology, I'll make it as seamless as possible. I have chosen a platform that is easy to use, and I am happy to assist you with any questions or concerns.
A common concern I hear from clients regarding online therapy is finding a quiet and/or confidential space when you’re homebound with children, and/or family members or roommates. Please plan this out in advance so you have quiet and privacy during your session.
Since it is so convenient many times people forget to allow themselves a few minutes to "switch hats" and allow themselves a few breaths and get settled into being present and in the head/body space for your session.
Headphones or AirPods can often make audio clearer or provide more privacy, but are not necessary.
Given that video sessions can be conducted on your smartphone, clients have found it helpful to go to a park, connect from wherever you may be, and/or walk around your neighborhood. Get creative and support yourself. Find a private space that allows you to receive support no matter where you are.
You are welcome to have pets join your space if you find that comforting and supporting, and you may see my fellow feline/canine therapists join in one of our sessions on my end.

Tracy L. Morris
Marriage and Family Therapist, MS LMFT
I've been serving clients for 10 years by video & phone sessions. In addition to health-related concerns, remote teletherapy can be just the right step for some other life situations.
If you've never seen a counselor by video before, your related concerns are understandable. In counseling, the term we use is "fit" -- describes when a particular counselor & setting feel 'just right' for you.

Jason Carlettini
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, NCC
As a therapist, I aim to use my extensive training, experience, and resources to help you experience hope and healing in your life. I have found online therapy to be highly effective for most adults and some older teenagers. I have the privilege of regularly seeing tremendous results with my clients. I have personally experienced the destructive nature that mental health and unhealthy relational patterns can have on people and families. As a result, my personal goal is to show that families and the people in them matter and to help them find the hope, healing, and growth needed to reach their fullest potential.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you soon.
