For the past 21 years, I have been helping people discover the origins of their problems, and to heal from the resulting brokenness. Very often the brokeness began long before the symptoms and life struggles manifested. For individuals who have had adverse experiences that required dissociation to survive their traumas, finding the right therapist is not easy. My many years of working with traumatized individuals as a Pastoral Counselor combined with my clinical training has enabled me to help many heal and fully recover from their PTSD and dissociation. I provide a non judgmental approach to help people heal and recover so that they can live productive lives. My pastoral experience and Christian training enables me to help the whole person.

I’ve spent a lot of time developing expertise in the issues I work with; however, I rely equally on my heart and gut sense in working with each client uniquely. I have a straightforward, common-sense style and know the value of elbow grease in making life changes. Trauma in all its forms is the thread that connects the different life problems I specialize in working with. I don’t believe in having only one tool in my toolbox, any more than I believe in having only one trauma treatment available to help you. Let’s figure out what tools work best for you, whether that be EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Brain Spotting, Deep Brain Reorienting, or the Safe and Sound Protocol. For six years, I worked for the VA, helping veterans heal the invisible wounds of combat and other traumatic experiences. Now, I offer therapy to the wider community, including veterans.
