Often, my clients are struggling with depression, anxiety, difficulties within relationships (like conflict, codependency, and people pleasing), and difficulties measuring up to the rigid and unrealistic expectations of the world we live in (leaving them with a deep sense of shame and unworthiness). Simply existing as a human can be really hard somedays, let alone doing all of the things that come with human-ing.
Our work together is informed by my experience (over a decade of work in the mental health system, including hospitals and a school board), knowledge, and more formal certifications (in modalities like CBT for instance -- but there is so much more than CBT!), and of course by you and the uniqueness of your stories and experiences.
