People can often feel isolated and overwhelmed by anxiety and/or fear. Working together, we can uncover/access supports that can transform your experience in these moments and in turn offer you new possibilities and freedom. Ultimately, we cannot completely escape these feelings, but we can become more curious and learn to trust that they offer important information. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that has been proven to work with symptoms including anxiety, phobias, and panic.

However, when anxiety becomes extreme it is no longer effective. When anxiety has become overwhelming and distressing, it’s beneficial to reach out for support. By finding the parts of you that are acting or avoiding out of fear and anxiety, we can access them in the body and transform their burdens of anxiety and fear into rivers of creativity and joy. Using special techniques like float back, EMDR, and calm place internal family systems and somatic experiencing I hold space for the wisdom within your body, mind soul and spirit to enter you and heal those anxious and fearful parts.

As of July 2019, I have also received training to offer Anxiety Coaching. This a specified set of sessions to help you to take back your life from Anxiety. Trained by Karen Day in Breaking the Worry Trance, this is an intensive deep-dive into anxiety. It is particularly useful for OCD, Social Anxiety and GAD.

In tandem, I use somatic based work to help reconnect with the body in a way that feels safe and supportive. In this work, we will be collaborative and communicative to ensure that we are doing what is best for you. Most importantly, let's help you feel connected, calm, and steady again.
