Treatment Approach

  • Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A structured therapy that uses guided eye movements to help process traumatic memories. It is widely recognized for treating PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) A short-term approach focused on improving relationships and social support. It is often used for depression and grief.
  • Jungian Therapy Draws on Carl Jung’s ideas about archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious. It helps people explore deeper layers of meaning.
  • Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
  • Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
  • Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
Approach Description: My approach is all about getting to the root of the issues that keep resurfacing, and healing your relationship with yourself. This approach is about facing and embracing parts of you that feel unacceptable and that haven't felt love. It is an approach that is trauma informed and considers your unique identities and how they intersect. We'll give time and focus to making sure you have the tools you need to take care of yourself and find some balance in life, and we will also go well beyond a "band-aid" approach. Instead of this, we will develop an understanding of, and therefore more flexibility and choice, the root issues that drive your challenges. If you're ready for this kind of deep work, please reach out!
