What would living a meaningful life with illness, pain and uncertainty look like for you? Where do you want to spend your precious time and energy? How do you want to treat yourself and others during these challenging times? I help my clients answer these and similar questions based on their personal values so they can show up in their lives in ways that are authentic and fulfilling to them. As someone who lives with serious medical conditions, I am attuned to the challenges of living with an unpredictable body and uncertain future. Whether you're facing a sudden life change, a progressive illness or a long-term health challenge, my practice focuses on supporting folks currently struggling against what they can’t change about themselves, their body and the world around us.

Sessions are personalized to clients' circumstances, needs and goals. I've specialized in Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) which is a flexible therapeutic approach that helps us build a new and more compassionate relationship with our difficult experiences. It is well studied for a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression as well as chronic pain and illness.
