Portland, Oregon therapist: Wendy Jensen LCSW, licensed clinical social worker
Serving LGBTQ+

Wendy Jensen LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Hypnotherapist, Diplomate Comprehensive Energy Psychology
My initiation into healing arts probably began as a child when I was blessed with experiencing a variety of paranormal events that helped me to learn and trust clairaudient and clairvoyant communication with spirit. My formal initiation began in 1996 in Portland, Oregon when I began studying Shamanic Healing though the Foundation For Shamanic Studies. I have trained with Sandra Ingerman in Soul Retrieval techniques and with several shamanic practitioners incorporating the healing energies of nature, doing divination work and teaching others to learn to do shamanic journey work. In 1998, I began training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). It was here, that I really began to understand how the body stores traumatic material subconsciously, that the physical body can manifest that stored material in physical and emotional disease and that the body can release that stored memory and it’s subsequent effects given the opportunity and assistance with proper techniques. In 1999, Wendy began training in Dynamic Energetic Healing™, a powerful protocol that encompasses a variety of healing modalities drawn from the Energy Psychology field. Energetic Healing focuses on helping clients to identify negative emotions, limiting beliefs and old traumas held in the energetic pathways of the body, explore the origins or root causes of these disturbances that may have occurred in current or past life or carried through on an ancestral linage and then release them. Since then I have studied and certified in a variety of Energy Pyschology techniques such as Emotional Freedom Technique, Tapas Accupressure Technique, Healing from the Body Level Up, and many more. I am a Diplomate in Comprehensive Energy Psychology since 2004. In 2006 Wendy completed a 2 year intensive training with the Wellness Institute in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. And in 2019, she completed the Essentials training in RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory) These trainings utilize the clients wise intuitive self along with guided prompts from the therapist to bring into consciousness, then clear and heal the past trauma memories still carried in the mind and body. I holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Social Work, Certifcations in Hypnotherapy and Energy Psychology and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in private practice since 1995. Since Covid-19 arrived in March 2020, I have held all session remotely via Zoom or Phone and has found teletherapy to be widely used, accepted and actually preferred by many of my cllents who report that they are able to do even deeper work from the safety of their own homes and not have to compartmentalize or shut off the deep work in order to go out and drive back home or to their workplace.

Manhattan, New York therapist: Salvadore Coaching LLC, life coach
Serving LGBTQ+

Salvadore Coaching LLC

Life Coach, Holistic Life Coach, Certified Breathwork Instructor, Certified Hypnotist
It's not the speed in life, it's the acceleration. The question isn't if we all experience anxiety in life. We do. The question is: how are we relating to that anxiety? I work with both individuals and couples on this, as well as relationship conflicts they may be experiencing, and on life transitions. Sometimes, we can feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional reactivity, or self-doubt, even when things appear stable on the outside. We work together to identify patterns, build healthier communication skills, and develop practical tools to reduce or reframe anxiety and increase emotional resilience. As a holistic life coach, I incorporate therapeutic dialogue, mindfulness, breathwork, and hypnosis to support regulation within the nervous system and lasting change. I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down - decelerate - gain clarity, and move toward more grounded, connected ways of living. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and sensitive to cultural and immigrant experiences.

West Linn, Oregon therapist: Rose Snyder, EdM, PsyD, LLC, psychologist
Serving LGBTQ+

Rose Snyder, EdM, PsyD, LLC

Psychologist, PsyD
I work from a collaborative perspective with teen and adult clients over online therapy. My approach is integrative, drawing from relational, family systems, behavioral, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed modalities to help clients better understand themselves, shift longstanding patterns, and build more fulfilling lives. I value a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, honesty, and mutual engagement. I especially enjoy working with clients who are motivated for growth—those who are ready to do the work of developing insight, building emotional resilience, and making meaningful shifts in their lives. Generally weekly appointments are recommended, though some clients benefit from more frequent meetings.

Chicago, Illinois therapist: XaHara A. MeGod, licensed professional counselor
Serving LGBTQ+

XaHara A. MeGod

Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LCPC, R-DMT, CPT
A sacred space to heal the parts of you that words alone may not fully reach. Many people carry stress, trauma, and emotional pain not only in the mind, but within the nervous system and body itself. These experiences can quietly shape relationships, self-worth, emotional reactions, and the ability to feel safe, connected, or fully present in life. I offer compassionate, trauma-informed support for individuals and couples (including LGBTQIA+ and polyamorous partners) seeking deeper healing and meaningful change. As a somatic therapist, I integrate body-based therapy, mindfulness, and counseling into a holistic healing approach that serves your nervous system to help you process and reconnect your mind, body, and spirit. You will feel more grounded and empowered. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. Our work together will move at a pace that feels supportive, collaborative, and safe while honoring both your lived experience and your body’s natural wisdom for healing.

La Quinta, California therapist: Stuart Hellebrand, M.S., C.Ht., hypnotherapist
Serving LGBTQ+

Stuart Hellebrand, M.S., C.Ht.

Hypnotherapist
Clients who reside locally most often schedule in-person sessions. Other local clients can elect to blend in person and remote hypnotherapy sessions using Zoom. Clients who reside out of the immediate area or in another State will have all of their sessions using Zoom. To accommodate the online process, I use a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom to protect your privacy and confidentiality. If you are not familiar with Zoom, note that it is a free download that works splendidly with a cell phone, tablet, or laptop. Once you download Zoom, and before your first session, we will connect and practice a bit at no cost to you. My goal is to make the remote process both easy and comfortable for you. My online hypnotherapy services are identical in content to those I conduct in person. In that I pride myself as being an educator charged with teaching you a lifelong skillset, you will need to be able to receive and print email attachments. Lastly, especially for those who reside out of the area, payment is by way of PayPal.
