Helping people with ADHD or those with similar symptoms is a passion of mine. Many people with ADHD feel that they have unrealized potential and are frustrated with their progress in life. A big part of my approach is helping the client figure out where they derive the most energy, passion and meaning and facilitating entry into those activities or environments. This can help the client feel more connected and also fosters better overall engagement. I also use a structured CBT approach to address some common issues such as organization, planning and time management which can give the client better agency and control over their lives.
