Vanessa Ffrench
Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (140713), Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor
I am a somatic psychotherapist and approach therapy holistically, focusing on the mind-body-spirit. My background and training is in early childhood development, mindfulness and meditation practices, and somatic psychology. I believe in processing and healing past wounds, while also working with the body and what is coming up in the present moment using body-oriented techniques and mindfulness. I also use ancient yogic practices and approach healing considering your subtle body energy system if you are interested (e.g. chakra health, breathing techniques, movement, etc).

Amority Health - Rachel Cooper - Therapy for High-Achieving Women
Therapist, MS, LPC Associate
If you’re a high-achieving woman in the HFHA loop of constant striving to get things “right,” struggling to say no, or feeling anxious and exhausted from relentlessly trying to keep up with everything, you understand firsthand how overwhelming it's becoming to maintain the mask.
You may find yourself overthinking decisions, being highly self-critical, or feeling like you can’t quite settle, even when things are going well. Over time, these patterns can become mentally exhausting and difficult to shift.
In session, we focus on understanding what’s driving these patterns and aim to develop a more flexible, sustainable way of thinking, responding, and relating to yourself.

My Role as Your Therapist
As your therapist, I serve as a compassionate witness, a steady source of support, and a guide. I bring over 23 years of clinical experience to our sessions, blending a soft, accepting environment with a direct, strength-based perspective. Together, we will work collaboratively to help you:
Develop a deeper sense of self-awareness
Navigate difficult life transitions and stress
Learn practical, evidence-based coping skills
Create the fulfilling life and relationships you desire
My Goals for Your Healing Journey
My primary goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we cannot change the difficult situations of your past, we can absolutely work together to better understand, process, and resolve the challenges you face today.
By applying complementary, evidence-based therapy approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, and trauma-informed care—we will identify long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back. Whether you are seeking extra support through a challenging crisis or you are finally ready to move your life or relationship in a brand-new direction, I am here to help you achieve your goals.

Counselor/Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor
Helping others is a passion I have. I love my job and find it very rewarding when I can help others transition, process and emotionally heal from traumatic, stressful or life altering changes in their life. Listening empathetically is key to helping my client. It’s always important for a client to be heard and understand. I’m sensitive to their processing. My approach is direct, making therapeutic suggestions. But one one of the greatest tools a therapist can have is being a good listener and validating their thoughts

Elizabeth Starnes
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC-S, ATR-BC®, REAT
I work with adults navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is warm, person-centered, trauma-informed, and attentive to the ways experiences are held in the body. Along with conversation, we may use art, visual journaling, writing, movement, metaphor, or other creative practices to explore what can be difficult to express in words. No artistic ability or experience is needed.
Together, we can, at your own pace, explore how past experiences continue to shape your thoughts, relationships, emotions, and sense of self. This work is not about pressuring you to change or telling you who you should become. It is about helping you reconnect with your own voice, develop greater trust in yourself, and discover ways of moving forward that feel authentic to you.
My approach integrates talk therapy with expressive arts therapy, grounded in specialized training in art therapy and intermodal expressive work. This means we actively use modalities such as visual journaling, storytelling, movement, and other forms of creative expression as part of the therapeutic process—not just talking about your experiences, but engaging with them in ways that support deeper understanding and change.
Clients often describe me as steady, down-to-earth, and genuine. I value creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and able to show up as you are.

Amy-Noelle Shih
Licensed Professional Counselor, Relationship Therapist and Life Coach, LPC, MA
I am a relationship coach and therapist, with an intuitive gift for working with relational dynamics.
What I have learned as a relationship coach and therapist and as a human soul who loves LOVE and the magic of healthy relationships is that it’s not enough to:
❤️love spending time together
❤️share values
❤️have good chemistry
❤️laugh together
❤️have good conversation
❤️genuinely enjoy one another’s company
❤️admire each other’s qualities
❤️feel love.
Yes, all of this is very important.
But if there is a deficit in body intelligence, heart attunement, healthy emotional vulnerability, and self-awareness, the issue will almost always be the same.
Partners may believe the issue is the breakdown of one of the things mentioned above. When the truth is, even the “masters of relationships” have challenges, ruptures, moments of feeling hurt, disappointed, misunderstood. What becomes the salve of reconciliation is the capacity to gain understanding, for deep care of another’s feelings, and a genuine desire to find the sweet spot where empathy and validation become antidotes to stuckness.
As soon as one feels seen and heard, pent-up energy is released, defenses soften, and there is more love, freeing up the barriers to seeking ways to work it out. Which is to say, loving understanding is the solution to finding solutions!
When partners can feel like their feelings and what's on their hearts is worthy of being held with importance and tenderness, then everything becomes more possible. There is new motivation, receptivity, and selfless energy that fills the space between partners. Growth, feeling close, and deeper trust are forged beautifully.
But if partners have fragile egos, cannot practice healthy control of their reactions, choose communication patterns that create more distance and suffering, are not willing to see their part in conflict, and allow their own stories and assumptions to rule their hearts and minds rather than compassionate understanding, then growth and change stall and stagnate.
Without self-awareness and course correction, even what is great about the relationship starts to recede into the background as the pain and disappointment get louder and take center stage, until only negativity seems to run the show.

Kathleen Cramer, Ph.D.
Psychologist, Ph.D., PSYPACT member
My approach to therapy is eclectic and tailored to each patient’s individual needs with a strong emphasis on techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Therapy is conducted with patients struggling with various diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, physical limitations, etc. However, you do not need to have a “problem” or “disorder” to benefit from individual therapy. For example, psychologists can help people make important decisions and learn how to manage their lives more productively. Just as you visit physicians for preventive care, you can meet with a psychologist to address issues before they become problematic. This proactive approach encourages the development of psychological health. People are in good psychological health when they make good decisions, manage stress well, communicate effectively, have healthy relationships, and take good care of themselves emotionally and physically.

Stella Ihesiaba
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I believe that every person deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity and respect. No two individuals experience mental health challenges in the same way, and I believe their treatment should reflect those differences.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I take a compassionate, collaborative, and individualized approach to care. I provide psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management, recognizing that healing may involve different approaches for different people.
I take time to listen without rushing, understand how your experiences affect your daily life, and explore what healing and wellness mean to you. I respect your cultural and spiritual beliefs, personal values, and right to make informed decisions about your care.
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns, asking questions, and actively participating in your treatment. Through education, practical coping strategies, therapy, and medication when appropriate, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that supports your unique needs and goals.
At Nova Mind Wellness, you are more than a diagnosis. You are an individual with your own story, strengths, challenges, and hopes for the future.

Dr. Lyndsay Elliott
Psychologist, PsyD.
My approach to therapy is straightforward — understand what is getting in the way, figure out why, and build a clear path forward. I work with adults, couples, and high-achieving professionals who are ready to make real changes, not just talk about them.
I am Dr. Lyndsay Elliott, a licensed clinical psychologist with a PsyD and a postdoctoral fellowship from UCLA. For over 20 years I have provided evidence-based psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, consultations and expert witness testimony to clients navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, relationship conflict, narcissistic abuse recovery, couples conflict, infertility, reproductive mental health, postpartum depression, family conflict, and major life transitions.

I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused intervention, and trauma-informed care, tailoring every treatment plan to each client's specific goals and circumstances.

Elaine Skoulas
Marriage and Family Therapist, M.A., LMFT
Many of the people who reach out to me have spent years holding everything together and often to themselves. They are thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring. Other people might depend on them. Externally, their lives often look successful while they are anxious, exhausted, overwhelmed, or wondering why they cannot seem to relax, even when life is going well.
I specialize in trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, chronic pain and illness, addiction, and the long term effects of living in survival mode. My approach integrates EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to help address both the emotional and physical effects of trauma and chronic stress.
Therapy offers the opportunity to understand the patterns that developed for good reasons, while creating new experiences that allow those patterns to begin changing. I provide secure online therapy throughout California and in person in West Los Angeles.
