Approach Description: In my work with clients, I've observed how Gestalt therapy helps become more self-aware and take responsibility for our own choices. When we engage with the "here and now" approach, we often experience breakthrough moments, especially during role-play exercises or empty chair techniques. This approach is particularly effective when helping to resolve unfinished business from the past.
CBT has proven to be highly effective in providing my clients with practical tools for change. Through homework assignments and structured sessions, we learn to identify the triggers, challenge distorted thinking, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. I've seen significant improvements in my practice dealing with anxiety and depression using CBT techniques.
Implementing mindfulness techniques has helped my clients develop better emotional regulation. Teaching to observe thoughts without judgment reduces reactivity to stressful situations. From reports it feels more centered and calm after incorporating simple mindfulness practices into the daily routines.
