Kevin Jones
Psychologist, MACP
My approach to supporting clients through divorce centers on creating a compassionate, steady space where they can process the emotional, practical, and relational changes they’re facing. I help clients explore the grief, stress, uncertainty, or identity shifts that often accompany separation, while teaching healthy coping skills to manage overwhelm and maintain stability. Using a blend of evidence-based strategies, emotional regulation tools, and values-focused work, I guide clients in rebuilding confidence, strengthening communication, and making decisions that align with their long-term well-being. My goal is to help individuals move through this transition with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.

Divorce is the death of your hopes and dreams that may have been a part of you since childhood and can be as traumatic as the death of a loved one. Moving forward in a confident and joyful way seems impossible at first but it's a little easier if there is someone there to walk with you. I would be honoured to walk with you toward healing and to help make life as bearable, just, calm and nurturing as possible for your children.

Mia Klassen
Licensed Professional Counsellor, MPCC #3875, CT #2438, LSCC
Ending a marriage—even one that needed to end—brings crushing grief mixed with relief, guilt tangled with freedom, and trauma that lingers long after papers are signed. I understand this journey both professionally and personally. Together, we'll honor the full complexity of what you're feeling without rushing you toward "moving on." You'll process the loss, navigate the practical chaos, and make sense of your new identity. But I'll also hold you accountable—to your healing, your growth, and the patterns you don't want to repeat. This isn't just about surviving divorce; it's about emerging stronger, clearer, and ready for what's next.

MJB Wellness LLC
Hypnotherapist, Certified Hypnotherapist and Coach, Certified Sexological Bodyworker, Sex Educator, Certified Reiki
While I don't specifically advertise as working with divorce, I do work with issues that often end in divorce and have done a number of workshops and online talks around couples and communication. In fact, for therapist who work with couples, the number 11 issue is lack of communication. Again, understanding consent, boundaries, and relationship dynamics is key to resolving couples issues. I trained in a protocol called Couple's Hypnosis where I hypnotize a couple together, take them to a place of complete honesty, openness, and lack of judgement and then pose a series of questions to each in turn to get the truth of their feelings around certain issues. If the couple has the willingness and courage to engage in this exploration it can lead to amazing insight in healing. Unfortunately, many clients don't have the courage to embrace honesty. I also see many clients post breakup and divorce who can't get past the loss of their partner and continue to obsess and mourn longer than is healthy. For these clients I am able to use hypnosis to break the hold their ex has on them and help them move on.
