I have Master's Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Counselling. In addition to professional training and experiences in psychotherapy and treatment, behavioral intervention, and neuropsychological assessments, I use my previous PhD and current doctoral studies to supplement my clinical practice using both clinical-scientist and scientist-practitioner models.

After over 20 years of struggling with insomnia, I discovered that there IS a safe, long-lasting strategy that's more effective than sleep meds in the long run. It profoundly changed my life. Now my passion in life is helping others reclaim their lives with better sleep.
I truly believe that each individual is the expert on their life and holds the potential to heal through their inner strength and wisdom to improve the quality of their life. With validation, compassion, and trust in the therapeutic relationship, I can help individuals heal from past trauma and support them in navigating through emotional complexities and life transitions, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.
Choose me as your therapist, and you're opting for a compassionate guide on your path to personal growth and healing. With a solid foundation in psychology from both Simon Fraser University in Canada and Montfort College in India, along with a rich background in counselling diverse populations, I bring a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy.
Counselling is akin to a mental gym, where we exercise and strengthen your mind. Often, people are unaware of the patterns and thought processes that perpetuate negative emotions and experiences. My mission is to collaborate with you, empowering you not only to conquer your challenges but also to liberate yourself from self-defeating beliefs. Together, we'll embark on a transformative journey, unlocking your full potential and creating a life of fulfillment and positivity.
I have a Masters of Clinical Psychology and have completed a clinical psychology internship at Duke Medical Hospital in both outpatient and inpatient units. I have over 10 years experience seeing clients with mild to severe depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain and health issues, and high-conflict relationships. I provide individual and couples therapy, as well as family skills sessions where I meet with family members of my clients to teach them skills and tools to support their loved one.
