Life can be full of difficult moments, unexpected transitions, and painful relationships. They may leave you feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or as though you’ve lost who you are. You may be finding yourself resorting back to old patterns during times of stress, even if those patterns no longer serve you well. Although you may be feeling stuck, you’re sure that you want things to change. Together, we can walk through your experiences side by side. You deserve a space in which you feel heard and supported, and where we can work towards gaining a deeper understanding of yourself, your experiences, and your relationships. Clients come to me seeking a therapist who is warm, understanding, and accepting. I always strive to meet you where you are - to follow your pace, to assist you in identifying and navigating the places you feel stuck, and to collaborate with you on moving toward the goals that are important to you. As a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults, I tailor my approach to fit your current needs, as well as your unique strengths and concerns. You don't have to keep going through this alone. Contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to determine if we could be a good fit.

Virtual sessions allow for flexibility while maintaining the same level of care, thoughtfulness, and engagement as in-person work. Online therapy can be especially helpful for those with busy schedules, travel constraints, or who simply feel more at ease meeting from home. I work to ensure that sessions remain focused, connected, and meaningful, even in a virtual setting. I currently offer online therapy through my solo practice. Unlike many corporately-owned platforms, I can assure you that no one has access to your data to sell to marketers or develop AI tools. Online therapy has been shown to be equally effective as in-person therapy, although some people prefer one over the other. You may find online therapy especially helpful if you are located in a rural area or otherwise have reduced access to providers, or if you have physical limitations, transportation issues, long work hours, or caregiving responsibilities that make it challenging to get to in-person appointments. Some people feel more comfortable meeting online when they have anxiety about leaving home or meeting new people, and virtual therapy can be a good way to transition to engaging more with the world. The biggest challenge for online therapy is making sure you have a private, quiet space to hold your session. I can help you figure out ways to create the best environment for our meetings, and I try to create a friendly and relaxed environment for our call, while maintaining the reflective space of a therapy office. Pets are always welcome and often seem to drop by during sessions! Some people prefer phone or audio only for their sessions, and that's fine too as long as we have one or two video sessions first.

Life in recent times has required all of us to make adjustments and transition some parts of our lives to the virtual space. It makes sense that healthcare services accommodate the needs of people in this way to offer the opportunity for support from afar. As a result, a significant part of my practice over the past few years has been in the service of providing tele-therapy for those who reside within the states governed by PSYPACT. For more information about my availability, please feel free to contact me.
