Our Therapy is 'means' tested and we may offer you concessionary discounted fees when on lower incomes for counselling. Initial assessment £79 for psychotherapy or prior online consultation for 20 mins at £45 for the nervous. Our caring work does not usually allow low finances to prevent access to therapy. Further information is on the private practice web site at: www.talktherapy4u.org and the public service www.thebus-stop.org which depends on the seriousness of your issues. Bus-Stop is run by volunteers, which is on a first come first served basis when a volunteer is in attendance through the week. This is a two tier service and is a Free Drop-In for crisis listening and then after assessment of £20, regular counselling will be means tested priced from only £10-£40 per session and we have many therapists available there and in our local private practice with regular Psychotherapy also offered at reasonable rates. Please Note: My work at The Lifescript Clinic of Harley Street in London, is for corporate clients only. It is priced from over £400 per session, due to location costs and my personal experience level offered, see web site. I also offer some private charitable pro-bono work, at the Drop-In service in CMK. For Major Trauma Therapy (C-PTSD & PTSD) in MK, my fees are means tested. Even if you start therapy to help you out of a dark or difficult time, it is a great gift that you give to yourself. We learn a great deal about ourselves, about others and ultimately about living with more ease and enjoyment. We can get curious about what you learnt growing up and in your life to date that created your world-view, your assumptions and even your body's responses to the situations you face. We'll learn about how you relate to your world in ways that *work* for you, as well as where these ways of relating are causing pain or limiting you. We will find your best ways to unblock and release those old responses. The goal: to help you to be more at-ease and authentically yourself and in relation to friends, family, work and other important people and situations. I believe every one of us has a soul-nature and way of being that works well for us and it's our job to work with that. I work with an integrative palette of approaches and tools, and share them with you in our conversations. A good deal of our work will involve not just thoughts and feelings, but how they land in your body. When we start to shift what is available to our felt-sense, our perceptions and actions can shift dramatically. This is one of the things I love about the recent post-graduate training I've undertaken in Somatic Experiencing. I'm at the Intermediate level in this method and it informs my approach to trauma, to neurodiversity and to relationships. I've also undertaken significant studies in ADHD and autism to help work with neurodivergence.
