Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy Based on decades of research, this method gives couples tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Motivational Interviewing (MI) A collaborative, client-centered approach that strengthens motivation for change. It is especially effective for addictions and health behaviors.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Schema Therapy Identifies deep-rooted negative patterns formed in childhood. It combines CBT, attachment theory, and experiential methods for change.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
Approach Description: My approach to therapy is integrative and trauma informed, combining evidence based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I work with clients to understand the deeper patterns that influence their emotional responses and relationships. Together we identify the beliefs, coping strategies, and life experiences that may be contributing to current struggles.
Therapy sessions are collaborative and structured. We work to increase self awareness, develop practical strategies for emotional regulation, and build healthier patterns of thinking and behaviour. Over time this process helps clients respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence.

- Online Therapy Details: I offer online therapy centered on uncovering root causes & identifying patterns shaping your life — with clear direction and a structure.
My practice focuses on helping individuals and couples understand the patterns underlying anxiety, depression, trauma related experiences, and relationship challenges. Many people find themselves reacting in ways they do not fully understand, repeating the same conflicts, or feeling stuck despite wanting things to change.
In therapy we work together to explore the experiences that shaped these patterns and bring greater awareness to how they continue to influence present day thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Understanding these dynamics often creates powerful insight and opens the door for meaningful change.
I take a structured and collaborative approach to therapy. From the first session we focus on clarifying the concerns that brought you to therapy and identifying the key areas we will work on moving forward. Clients often find that having a clear direction for therapy helps reduce overwhelm and provides a sense of momentum early in the process.
My goal is to create a supportive and non judgmental space where you can explore difficult experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
