My goal is to help you shift from job searching and career decisions that are based in fear, anxiety, or limited options to career decisions that are intentional and aligned with your values. I offer career assessments and guidance for those at the beginning stages of deciding on a career field or direction, those looking for a career change, or those wanting to craft or modify their current career in order to better align with their skills and abilities. Career assessments can identify those specific natural abilities and learned skills in order to find those career fields and goals that might be a good match. These evaluations can be completed in-person or virtually. For those with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD, ASD, or learning differences, I am uniquely positioned to combine my expertise in those disorders with career assessments and guidance to meet your needs.

I take a coaching approach to career counseling. My belief is that I am the expert on specific career development tools, and YOU are the expert on you. I defer to your expertise on you to help us discover the direction in which we will develop your career portfolio. Note: I didn't say career path. It is a rare thing that our way forward is straight or clear. Coaching offers a space to develop your skills, identify possibilities, and develop flexibility, resilience, and insight to take advantage of the right opportunity at the right time. Together we can explore your values, your strengths, your character, your growth orientation, and your definition of success to create a strategy for career growth.

You had a good day. Work went well; you exercised; maybe even spent time with people you care about. Then you got home, noticed everything you had not done, opened your phone “for a minute,” and disappeared into comparison, research, or another plan to improve your life. By bedtime, the day no longer felt like enough. I work with thoughtful, driven folks, often ADHD or ADHD-ish, who look capable from the outside but feel restless, scattered, disconnected, or chronically behind. You may be successful and self-aware, yet exhausted from constantly trying to fix yourself. My approach is practical and collaborative, grounded in contextual behavioral science. We look beneath procrastination, distraction, burnout, and indecision to understand how these patterns developed and what keeps them going. Therapy is not another performance test. It is a place to rebuild self-trust and act from what matters—not shame, fear, or proving. I do not offer a final formula for what your life should be. I can help you slow the machinery down, recognize the rules that have been running you, and take the next honest step without abandoning yourself. If you have built a life that should feel meaningful but doesn't feel like home, contact me to see whether we're a good fit. I do not offer a final formula for what your life should be. In the worlds of medicine, education, the military, and emergency services, your career is often inextricably linked to your identity. Career counseling for these fields requires more than just logistical planning; it requires navigating the complex emotions of burnout, the transition from military to civilian life, or the decision to step away from a role that has defined you for years. Having served in the National Guard and worked in the Emergency Department and school systems, I understand the weight of these shifts and the unique challenges of finding a professional path that offers both purpose and sustainability. We will work together to evaluate your skills, address the "helpers' guilt" that often accompanies career changes, and build a strategic plan that honors your experience while prioritizing your long-term well-being and personal goals.

Career blocks aren't a strategy problem they're an identity problem. Imposter syndrome, fear of visibility, self-sabotage at the threshold of the next level — these are subconscious patterns, not character flaws. I work with executives and entrepreneurs in the Dallas area and virtually to identify and eliminate the specific belief structures stalling their career trajectory. When your identity catches up to your ambition, the moves become obvious.

Since people always bring their own values, feelings, wishes, expectations and also their personal problems into their company, a "traffic jam" can suddenly arise, a demotivation. This is often called an "inner quitting". What to do? Who does the decision-maker/ manager, HR manager bring into the company as advice? First of all the upcoming or longer lasting "crisis" should be discovered and defined. And then? First and foremost it is always about the people, the "affected" themselves. Before management consultants and business coaches come, employees should find their own personal solutions before a dismissal threatens and thus a possible loss-making "employee fluctuation". Jean-Marie Bottequin analyses and remedies the entrepreneurial "bottleneck" only on the personality level. The employee(s) are newly motivated in a different, discreet and anonymous way. Thus JMB acts as a "supervisor" in the company. As a "Work-Life-Balance Profiler" JMB analyses the person in his or her private challenges. These can be: threatening burnout, mobbing, relationship problems (both within the company, with colleagues or boss, in the family or in personal relationships, marriage, with the children, etc.). Also dissatisfaction with the choice of career (reorientation), health problems, stress, grief, anger. A lack of self-esteem is usually the basis for other subsequent bottlenecks, both privately and then at work or vice versa. In order for you to be recognized and appreciated as a manager within the company and by customers, it is necessary to strengthen your own credibility and maintain the basis of trust. With effective "non-verbal communication", you as a manager can consciously and honestly use your empathy skills. In the seminar, you learn to be a powerful and authentic role model and to support your team in sales in the best possible way. Those who are interested in the interaction of posture and gestures, of forms and dynamics of movements is interested, can present himself better. Unused talents emerge and leave behind Curiosity and interest in your counterpart. The tools acquired in the seminar will bring you as a manager continues in his management tasks from the very next day. "Your body language is the calling card of your success!" The content of the individual coaching is tailored to your personal needs.

In addition to hypnotherapy, I'm also a trained coach and have had several coaching clients, helping them have the confidence to move forward, eliminate mental blocks to achieving success, enabling them to be more comfortable and confident stepping into leadership roles, speaking in front of groups. I had one particular client who feared being in the presence of someone prominent in her field, someone who she needed to see at conferences, who she would have to deal with to move ahead in her business. Up until coming to me, she would be so triggered by his presence she couldn't function at all. After one session and me providing her with a custom tailored hypnosis MP3 for building confidence, she no longer feared him, in fact his presence no longer had any effect on her whatsoever and her business has taken off. She recently confided in me that she still listens to her MP3 regualrly to give her a boost and she refers many clients to me. For most of my life I have been an artist and teacher and so creativity is a particular interest of mine and so I have helped many artists, writers, musicians, and business people engage with their creative selves and break through blocks.

I help those who are stuck in a demoralizing, life-draining career and find clarity on what it is that is going to give you the most meaning in life. After this, we work together at mapping out a realistic strategy for getting you there. I use motivational coaching, inspirational feeling development, hypnosis, pineal gland breathwork, NLP, EMT, and additional modalities, as needed. Once we can define what it is we truly want out of life, what truly makes us happy, and then apply the realistic strategy, the path forward is revealed and there is no turning back. In some cases, trauma-clearing needs to happen in order to move forward, and in those cases, we would use a hypnotic regression back to the cause so we can clear the root cause and end the looping pattern. Each case is different but the majority of clients excel when they clear layers to arrive at the truth (dharma) and we then use a combination of visualizing that future, along with sustaining elevated emotions, until it becomes our reality.
