Are you looking for a therapist that considers the broader social issues that impact your life and mental health? I offer a blend of tangible coping tools and deeper processing to help you build a life worth living.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) An evidence-based treatment for PTSD that teaches clients to reframe unhelpful thoughts about trauma. It helps reduce guilt, shame, and fear.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Eclectic Therapy Draws from different therapeutic methods based on what fits each client best. It is flexible and personalized rather than following one single model.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Narrative Therapy Encourages people to view problems as separate from themselves and reframe their life story. It helps build resilience and self-identity.
Approach Description: It's important to me that the approach we use is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs - whether that be short-term coping skills, targeted work on OCD or trauma, or deep processing of stories about yourself and the world.
I use a blend of narrative therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), self-compassion strategies and feminist therapy. I also provide exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD as well as cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for trauma.
I ground my practice in an anti-oppressive framework which means I believe our wellness is impacted by larger social systems and how these intersect with our identities. I welcome discussion about culture, gender, race, sexuality, class and ability in our sessions as we explore your lived experiences.
Fees & Insurance
Fees
- Average Session Fee 165
- Affordable sliding scale therapy: apply if you may be eligible.
- It's important to me that we set a fee for you that actually allows you to come to therapy as frequently as you need. This can look like renegotiating the fee after you've maxed out your annual benefits, readjusting following other financial changes or simply setting a lower rate at the start if you're paying out of pocket.
- Accepts Insurance
- I do not direct bill to insurance, meaning you are expected to pay for sessions and submit your receipts yourself for reimbursement. I always encourage folks to review their insurance beforehand to ensure they have coverage for psychotherapy. I am a registered Blue Cross provider.
