Dr. Kimberlyann Marsden
Psychologist
My therapy practice has been completely online for over three years. I have found the technology enables clients to be able to engage in sessions from the comfort of their own home or location of their choosing. I do all of the same dynamic practices in sessions online, whether that be teaching breathwork, visualization or embodiment movement techniques. I use the chat function to give the client links for resources or other recommendations. The platform I use is Simple Practice which has an app that can be used on mobile devices as well as a desktop version. It provides a secure, HIPAA compliant videochat platform which is very easy to use.
I am an out of network therapist so clients pay me directly and then I provide a superbill which can be used to obtain insurance reimbursement if you are eligible for it based on your policy. I also provide clients a service called Reimbursify where they can submit a request to find out how much their insurance will cover and it can also be used to submit claims directly to your insurance company. If you have any issues with the insurance company Reimbursify can assist in getting information.

*Waitlist for psychological evaluations is roughly 1-2 months. Waitlist for new therapy clients is at least 3-4 months.
My practice specializes in online psychological evaluations for pre-teens (11-12), teens (13-17), and adults (18+) for autism and ADHD. I also provide teletherapy to work with adult neurodivergent clients as they adjust to a new diagnosis, unmask, manage accommodations, reframe the way they have been comparing themselves to neurotypical people, etc. As an autistic psychologist, I personally have worked through many of these challenges. I offer psychological evaluations, individual therapy, family and couples therapy online, and as a PSYPACT authorization holder I am currently able to practice telehealth in 44 states.

My four-year postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis is from the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. People enter psychotherapy with mixed emotions of hope and doubt. I try to provide a warm environment conducive to honest, authentic communication. Dan Walinsky
Psychologist, PhD
Online therapy is such a wonderful opportunity to do deep and powerful therapeutic work in a way that is both convenient and secure. I want all my clients, online and in person, to feel the same warmth and compassion as we work through situations and experiences. In much of the same way that we do in person, my online work is based around building a supportive therapeutic relationship. In therapy, potential for healing and growth occurs through through the relationship that we build together. I really enjoy working with clients who are trying to figure out how to manage or explore the difficult feelings – sometimes anxiety and depression - that can emerge during self-exploration, identity development, life changes, working on relationship issues among monogamous and poly/ENM/CNM people, career or work shifts, LGBTQIA+ clients, and so much more. Work with me often involves exploring patterns, looking at the imprints of families of origin, and addressing ways in which those long past experiences come up in the present.
