Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or exhausting—especially when stress, anxiety, health concerns, or relationship challenges start to pile up. Psychotherapy offers a confidential, non-judgmental space to slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and develop practical ways to cope.
Working with a trained therapist can help you manage anxiety, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, chronic illness (including cancer-related stress), relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about building insight, emotional regulation, and skills that support real change in your daily life.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, burned out, emotionally reactive, or simply unsure how to move forward, therapy can help you gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with a sense of balance and direction. Sessions are collaborative and paced to meet you where you are, with tools you can use beyond the therapy room.
Reaching out for support isn’t a weakness—it’s a practical and intentional step toward better mental health and overall well-being. You don’t have to manage everything on your own. With the right support, it’s possible to feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with the life you want to live.

Treatment Approach
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, while committing to actions that reflect their values. It blends mindfulness with practical behavior strategies.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Builds skills in self-kindness and compassion toward others. It is especially helpful for people who struggle with shame or self-criticism.
- Existential / Humanistic Therapy Encourages people to explore meaning, freedom, and authenticity in their lives. It focuses on personal growth and living in alignment with one’s values.
- Integrative Therapy Combines techniques from multiple approaches into a customized plan. It adapts to each client’s unique situation and needs.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Jungian Therapy Draws on Carl Jung’s ideas about archetypes, dreams, and the collective unconscious. It helps people explore deeper layers of meaning.
- Multicultural Therapy Acknowledges the role of culture, race, and identity in mental health. It values diversity and adapts treatment to each person’s background.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychosocial Therapy Looks at how social and environmental factors affect psychological health. It emphasizes relationships, community, and resilience.
- Self Psychology Explores the development of self-esteem and identity. It emphasizes the importance of empathy in healing.
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Focuses on solutions and future goals rather than past problems. It is practical, short-term, and goal-driven.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in the belief that clarity creates change. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted—not because solutions don’t exist, but because stress, anxiety, cultural expectations, and life pressures make it difficult to see a clear way forward.
My decision to become a therapist was shaped by personal experiences, a genuine interest in human behavior, and a desire to support others through complex emotional and life challenges. I value therapy as a space where insight, emotional regulation, and practical strategies come together to support meaningful change.
I work from an integrated, evidence-based framework, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT-informed skills, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This approach allows us to simplify what feels overwhelming, focus on what matters most, and develop tools that can be applied in daily life.
Cultural context is an important part of my work. I am mindful of how cultural values, family roles, migration experiences, and intergenerational expectations can shape stress, identity, and emotional expression—particularly for clients from diverse and South Asian backgrounds. Therapy is adapted to honor your lived experience rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all model.
Sessions are collaborative, structured when helpful, and paced with care. Rather than overanalyzing problems, we work toward greater emotional clarity, resilience, and forward movement—helping you feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with your values.
