It makes sense that healthcare services accommodate the needs of people in this way to offer the opportunity for support from afar. As a result, a significant part of my practice over the past few years has been in the service of providing tele-therapy for those who reside within the states governed by PSYPACT. Teletherapy, also known as online therapy or telehealth, offers numerous benefits and advantages for both therapists and clients. Teletherapy breaks down geographical barriers, allowing clients to access mental health services regardless of their location. This can be especially beneficial for individuals living in rural areas or areas with limited access to mental health resources. Teletherapy also offers convenience, as sessions can be conducted from the comfort of the client's home or any other location with internet access. This eliminates the need for travel time, transportation costs, and scheduling conflicts, making therapy more accessible and manageable for busy individuals.

Dr. Ruth Viehoff

Psychologist, PsyD, HSPP
Hello, I'm Dr. Ruth Viehoff, and it's a pleasure to virtually meet you. I specialize in working with anxious overachievers, perfectionists, and adults with ADHD. My clients are often worriers and people who struggle to meet their own exacting standards, even though to an outsider's view, they may appear to have it all together. Often my clients are so concerned and caring towards others, but can struggle to care for themselves and advocate for their own needs. In therapy, we work to introduce self-compassion and shift personal standards that may get in the way of enjoying your life. While I'm physically located in Indianapolis, IN, the majority of my clients see me virtually. Whether you live in Indiana, New York, Massachusetts, or a participating Psypact state, I'd love to connect with you and help you to live a more authentic, embodied, and joyful life. Reach out to me today to book a free consultation call!
