Aiki Relationship Institute

Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Currently, about 80% of my sessions are online. I specialize in working with relationships, so couples make up the majority of my practice. I also work with individuals whose partners are unwilling to participate or with singles who are struggling with relationship issues. My style tends to be relatively active in that I provide a lot of information about my thinking. I bring a lot of expertise to the table, but I also realize the need to be attentive to the experience of the individuals and couples I work with. They are the experts on their lives. I've done this for a long time, so I am rarely surprised by issues couples bring to therapy.

Psychologist, PsyD
Ready to make a change in your life, but not sure where or how to start? Let’s take that first step together. I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience working with adults who are ready to make meaningful change—but need support getting started. Whether you’re struggling with substance use, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, or just feeling stuck, you don’t have to face it alone. I use proven approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. I offer ADHD evaluations for adults, with tailored treatment recommendations based on the client's unique needs. I enjoy working with Veterans and college students, I have an extensive background working with substance use issues, and I am certified in CBT for chronic pain. All of this can be accomplished via telehealth from Pennsylvania, where I am licensed, and any state that is included in PsyPACT, as I am credentialed through PsyPACT. I focus on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for adults dealing with a variety of mental health issues. My goal is to help clients explore what’s holding them back and build practical strategies to move forward. Additionally, I endeavor to help my clients feel more grounded, clear, and empowered. I accept Highmark, Optum, Aetna, and UPMC commercial insurance and I am happy to help with reimbursement for out-of-network clients. Clients are encouraged to contact their insurance company to verify that I am in-network if they would like to use insurance benefits, especially if located outside of Pennsylvania.

Seattle, Washington therapist: Sumer Statler Aeed, psychologist

Sumer Statler Aeed

Psychologist, Licensed Psychologist
Telehealth psychology support for life adjustments, trauma, relationships, and body issues. With technology, you can experience all the benefits of in-person therapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home and have continuity of care when you travel. It can be especially helpful to those who find it challenging to travel to an office for appointments due to location, work, children at home, lifestyle, or other practical or personal reasons. You may be located abroad or be a professional who travels, telehealth allows you to get the support and resources and meet you where your life is at. While there are multiple ways that counseling can take place online, I work primarily with face-to-face video conferencing via Zoom and, on occasion, telephone sessions. I always hold my sessions in a quiet and confidential space, giving you the same confidentiality & professionalism that you experience within an office setting. Most, if not all, of my clients, find virtual sessions to be highly effective and convenient. They allow for the comfort and safety of therapy in your own space, and no travel time is often less vulnerable than needing to go to an office. Research of multiple studies finds that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most cases. That being said I always advocate for what works best for each individual and it is wonderful to have choices to find your best path whichever that may be. If you are not tech-savvy or anxious about using technology, I'll make it as seamless as possible. I have chosen a platform that is easy to use, and I am happy to assist you with any questions or concerns. A common concern I hear from clients regarding online therapy is finding a quiet and/or confidential space when you’re homebound with children, and/or family members or roommates. Please plan this out in advance so you have quiet and privacy during your session. Since it is so convenient many times people forget to allow themselves a few minutes to "switch hats" and allow themselves a few breaths and get settled into being present and in the head/body space for your session. Headphones or AirPods can often make audio clearer or provide more privacy, but are not necessary. Given that video sessions can be conducted on your smartphone, clients have found it helpful to go to a park, connect from wherever you may be, and/or walk around your neighborhood. Get creative and support yourself. Find a private space that allows you to receive support no matter where you are. You are welcome to have pets join your space if you find that comforting and supporting, and you may see my fellow feline/canine therapists join in one of our sessions on my end.

Does this sound familiar? You want to feel peaceful and content, but instead you are feeling: overwhelmed by stress, totally burned out, or even debilitated by anxiety. It’s been hard for you to manage the emotional toll of constant and often unrealistic demands. You can rarely find a moment to stop and catch your breath. Each day feels like you are being stretched a bit thinner and you wonder how much you have left to give. Life doesn’t have to go on this way. Hi, I’m Dr. Jennifer McManus and I help ambitious women find relief from stress, burnout, anxiety, and deep emotional pain. It is my mission to provide scientifically informed psychotherapy without sacrificing compassion and genuine concern. There is one thing I know for sure: all women deserve their own love and compassion

I provide online therapy to adults and couples across 40+ states through PSYPACT. Telehealth isn't a scaled-down version of my practice; it's how most of my clients prefer to work, whether that's a working parent fitting in a session between meetings or someone who's relocated but wants to keep the continuity of care they've built. Sessions run the same as in-person: focused, collaborative, and grounded in the same evidence-based couples and individual work I'd do in the room.

Adolescents and adults navigating their faith and sexuality (LGBTQ+ affirming), anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, grief, trauma, pregnancy/postpartum, family of origin concerns, identity development, and general life stressors and transitions would particular enjoy working with me. Multicultural couples and families navigating culture clashes, estrangement, faith transitions, and sexual and intergenerational trauma, especially for BIPOC populations, are treatment specialties. Psychedelic psychotherapy preparation and integration are also available with referrals to clinics and others who can provide medication administration. Psychological assessment to clarify diagnoses such as autism, bipolar disorder, ADHD, etc., Independent Medical Evaluations (IME), worker’s compensation, preemployment for first responders, and fitness-for-duty-evaluations are also offered. Approaching patients with cultural humility is a core value at Malak Psychology honoring who you are, your ancestors, and the indigenous land we occupy. Grounded in decolonizing mental health, liberation, and feminist psychologies, my practice employs multimodal approaches, including dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, cognitive processing therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, somatic experiencing, emotionally focused couples therapy, Gottman, family systems, psychoanalysis, and more. Asking for help is challenging enough, and I believe that the online format removes some of the other stressors normally associated with beginning therapy. One of the most important "ingredients" for success in therapy is feeling comfortable in the therapy setting. With online therapy, clients enjoy the convenience of meeting with me from wherever they feel most comfortable. Online therapy also eliminates the need for a commute to an office or sitting in a waiting area. With some of the stress eliminated, we can really get to work!

People want fullness of love in life (in work, relationship and purpose), but get stymied by anger, anxiety, or existential dilemmas. Sometimes talking about it isn't enough to transform it. To make significant change, after we name emotions and explore their sensations, we can build a new somatic relationship. By compassionately attending to old habits, then invoking new awareness of how to thrive, we liberate ourselves from past patterns and welcome new joys. If you like contemplative exploration of the roots of your issues, guidance to find your inner ah-ha!, and support for your own wisdom to lead you forward, give me a call. I believe the energy we call Divine (or Source, Consciousness, Godde, All) is within you and around you, ready to speak. You have the answers within you, I'm here to help you find them- and implement them.

I'm a licensed clinical and sport psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, working with clients by secure video. Online sessions let us focus on meaningful work without the drive — whether you're chasing a performance goal, rebuilding your nerve after a fall or injury, or carrying the everyday weight of anxiety, self-doubt, and pressure. Much of my work is with equestrians and other performers: turning fear into courage, distraction into focus, and pressure into effective performance. But my clinical roots run deeper than sport. Drawing on psychotherapy, Ericksonian hypnotherapy, NLP, and decades of studying how people and relationships actually change, I help adults and adolescents build real confidence and steadier, safer relationships. At the center of my approach is a simple idea: We perform best, and feel most like ourselves, when we feel secure in our own skin and connected positively to others who matter to us. However we begin, my aim is to meet you exactly where you are and help you make change where other approaches have stalled.
