I work alongside you on this self-exploratory journey, not only showing curiosity about the thoughts that shape your emotional world but also the nervous system patterns held in your body. Real change occurs when the mind and body begin communicating differently, and I will collaborate with you to explore this process with care, curiosity, and evidence-based tools. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in trauma-informed methods that create space for deep emotional work at a pace that feels safe. If you’re ready to understand your patterns, reconnect with yourself, and find lasting relief—not quick fixes—I am here to support your healing through this process.

Treatment Approach
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) One of the most widely used approaches, CBT helps people identify unhelpful thoughts and replace them with healthier patterns. It is effective for anxiety, depression, and many other concerns.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness to help regulate emotions, tolerate stress, and build stronger relationships. Originally designed for borderline personality disorder, it’s now used more broadly.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Focuses on strengthening emotional bonds in couples or families. It helps people identify negative cycles and create more secure connections.
- Feminist Therapy Addresses how gender roles, power, and social inequality affect mental health. It empowers clients to challenge limiting beliefs and systems.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) Helps clients heal by working with different ‘parts’ of themselves, like inner critics or wounded children. It fosters harmony within the self.
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT to prevent depression relapse. It helps people notice thoughts without judgment and respond more calmly.
- Neuropsychology Examines how brain function affects thinking, memory, and behavior. It often involves assessment and rehabilitation strategies.
- Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian) Emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. It provides a safe space for self-discovery and growth.
- Psychodynamic Therapy Explores unconscious thoughts and patterns that influence current behavior. It builds insight into how the past impacts the present.
- Relational Psychotherapy Emphasizes the healing power of the therapist-client relationship. It uses trust and safety as a foundation for change.
- Somatic Therapy Helps clients notice how emotions are stored in the body. It uses breath, movement, and awareness for healing trauma and stress.

My approach supports adults navigating relational trauma, attachment wounds, separations, divorces, breakups, disconnection, identity shifts, and long-standing emotional patterns that feel difficult to change alone. I work from a holistic, integrative perspective—recognizing that healing involves more than just adjusting thoughts or behaviours. It also includes understanding how the body holds stress, how the nervous system reacts to past experiences, and how these reactions influence relationships, our attachments, and self-perception today.
Using a combination of relational psychotherapy, IFS (Parts Work), somatic awareness, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness, DBT skills, and mindful nervous-system regulation, sessions aim to foster meaningful, lasting change. We explore both inner experiences and physical cues from the body to help build safety, connection, emotional regulation, and self-trust from within.
Working together, my approach feels collaborative, warm, comfortable, and grounded. I move at your pace while gently challenging unhelpful beliefs and patterns. My goal is to enable deep self-understanding, reduce emotional overwhelm, and cultivate clearer, more stable relationships—from romantic partners to family and oneself.
I offer both in-person sessions in downtown Toronto and virtual sessions across Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Yukon, with daytime/ evening, and weekend hours. Feel free to reach out for a free phone consultation.
