Children don’t heal through long conversations—they heal through stories, movement, imagination, and connection. In my practice, I use art therapy, play-based interventions, and experiential activities to help children express feelings that are too big or too confusing for words. Therapy becomes a safe, creative space where they can explore emotions, learn coping skills, and build confidence in ways that feel natural and fun.
To support engagement and emotional safety, I introduce child-friendly therapy helpers—such as Little Penguins “Pip, Pebble & Puddles”, who model bravery and emotional expression, and “Puff” my Fly-on-the-Wall, who helps kids observe thoughts and feelings with curiosity and truth instead of fear. These mascots gently teach children about mental health, self-regulation, problem-solving, and resiliency.
Using drawing, story-building, interactive worksheets, sensory tools, and imaginative play, I help children navigate anxiety, big emotions, behavioural challenges, social struggles, and life changes. My approach is warm, neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices—while still honouring the unique world of each child.
If you’re looking for a therapist who can meet your child where they are and help them grow through creativity, connection, and play, I’d be honoured to support your family.
